Austin Jackson's solo homer in the fifth inning on Friday, proved to be the difference in leading the Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the White Sox, their sixth straight win. Jackson finished the evening 1-for-4. It's a nice start to the month of August for him, as he's coming off a rough .223/.273/.366 month of July where he homered twice and owned an 8/34 BB/K ratio. The 26-year-old outfielder is hitting .266/.339/.396 with seven homers, 26 RBI and six swipes on the season.
