Fernando Salas (shoulder) will begin a minor league rehab assignment this week with Triple-A Memphis. Salas has been sidelined for nearly a month due to right shoulder irritation. The Cardinals will likely want to see how he responds to throwing on back-to-back days before bringing him back from the disabled list.
