Rangers placed 1B Mitch Moreland on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring. Moreland suffered the hamstring injury in the seventh inning of Wednesday night's game against the Red Sox. He is likely to be sidelined for around three weeks. Texas called up Chris McGuiness to fill the roster vacancy.
