Jonathan Sanchez has been suspended six games for hitting Allen Craig with a pitch in Friday's loss to the Cardinals. Sanchez intentionally threw at Craig after allowing back-to-back home runs to Matt Carpenter and Carlos Beltran and a single to Matt Holliday to open the game. Already barely holding on to his roster spot, Sanchez is a now a candidate to be demoted from the Pirates' rotation. He has a brutal 12.71 ERA in four starts this season.
