Shawn Tolleson is scheduled to undergo surgery on his injured lower back on Thursday afternoon. Tolleson was placed on the disabled list April 15 with a lower back strain and now needs surgery to repair the injury. He is expected to be sidelined for 3-5 months and could feasibly miss the rest of the season.
