Brewers and OF Carlos Gomez avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract.
Gomez, who hit 19 homers and stole 37 bases in 2012, was eligible for arbitration for the first time. He's a Super Two qualifier, so he'll have four arbitration years.
