According to Danny Knobler of CBS Sports, Scott Rolen has suggested to the Reds that he may want to come to spring training in hopes of playing another season. Knobler writes that the Reds would be "more than happy to give him a chance," as they believe he could help on the field and in the clubhouse. The Reds acquired Jason Donald on Tuesday night and are set to sign Jack Hannahan as a backup to Todd Frazier at third base, so it's hard to see him as a fit with Cincinnati. But he apparently isn't ready to retire yet.
