Rangers signed C Koyie Hill to a minor league contract. Hill was given his release by the Nationals earlier this month after hitting just .163 with two homers and a .457 OPS in 33 games with Triple-A Syracuse. The 33-year-old is a .210/.271/.294 hitter over over parts of nine seasons in the majors and will presumably serve as catching depth at the Triple-A level.
