David Lennon of Newsday reports that Miguel Batista has signed with the Braves. It's almost surely a minor league deal. Batista was released by the Mets after posting a 1.80 WHIP in 30 appearances with the Mets. He's unlikely to make any worthwhile appearances for Atlanta in the second half.
