Tigers recalled SS Hernan Perez from High-A Lakeland. Perez has a career .243 batting average in the minors and will provide infield depth with Johnny Peralta on the paternity leave list. The Tigers have yet to announce a correspond roster move, though that could depend on how close Octavio Dotel (elbow) is to a return.
