Guillermo Mota will appeal his suspension for a second positive test for a performance-enhancing drug. However, as second-time offender, he must begin serving the suspension immediately. Mota tested positive for Clenbuterol, which is used mostly as a weight-loss supplement. The veteran righty has a 5.06 ERA and 9/4 K/BB ratio in 10 2/3 innings this season.
