Lara signed a minor league deal with the Giants on Saturday, Baseball America's Matt Eddy reports. Lara worked as a relief pitcher at Double-A and Triple-A last season in the Rays' organization, with little success. As a lefty specialist with shaky command, Lara holds little fantasy value, even in the deepest of leagues.
