Escobar left Tuesday's game in the third inning with a left knee sprain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Escobar attempted to go from second base to home on a single by Ben Zobrist in the top of the third, but a spike on his cleat caught the dirt as he went for the slide. The Rays will send Escobar for an MRI, but Topkin noted that the team didn't seem especially concerned about the injury.
