Kipnis is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Astros. With the season winding down for the Indians, manager Terry Francona will find a day of rest for Kipnis, who has played on a near-everyday basis since returning from an oblique injury in May. Considering his lofty average draft position in the spring, Kipnis' season has been a major disappointment, as his numbers across the board are well below the levels of last season. At 27 years old, it's still within his capacity to turn things around, and he could be had at a relative bargain price entering the 2015 season.
