Garza pitched for six innings Sunday against the Reds, allowing only one run on four hits and three walks while striking out six batters. Garza struggled in his first two starts after returning from the DL September 3, but he showed his best outing in three starts Sunday. Before his injury, Garza was pitching well with a 2.88 ERA in June and 2.53 ERA in July. His strong showing Sunday could be a sign that he is getting back on track. Garza will face the Pirates on Saturday.
