The Orioles are playing it cautious with Pearce (abdomen), but he will attempt to swing a bat in the next few days, MASN Sports reports. There was initially hope that Pearce would be able to return to the lineup in the middle of the week, but that plan appears to be out the window. If Pearce cannot swing a bat for another couple of days, he may not get back into the lineup until sometime next week.
