Morse was scratched from Monday's game against the Rockies after suffering a hip injury during batting practice, Andrew Baggarly of CSN Bay Area reports. Something seemed amiss when Morse was immediately removed from the lineup when the Rockies and Giants resumed a suspended game from May 22 earlier in the day, and we now know the reason behind it. He'll be considered day-to-day, and will be replaced at first base by Joaquin Arias.
