Perez will be recalled from Triple-A Toledo in advance of Monday's game against the Indians, Chris Iott of MLive.com reports. Though the shortstop position has been a weak spot for the Tigers this season, Perez isn't likely to usurp Eugenio Suarez for starting duties at the position. The 23-year-old batted .287 with six homers and 21 steals over 133 games at Toledo entering play Sunday, and will primarily serve as pinch-running option or defensive replacement off the bench.
