Ellis is out of the lineup Saturday against the Padres. Drew Butera will step in to catch starter Zack Greinke, pushing Ellis to the bench after four straight starts. Ellis is batting just .185/.299/.262 this month, but he's 5-for-11 in his last three games and should continue to serve as the primary option behind the plate for Los Angeles.
