Reed notched his 31st save of the season Friday night versus the Rockies, picking up two strikeouts as he retired all three batters faced. Reed reached a respectable milestone Friday night, as the 25-year-old closer picked up the 100th save of his MLB career. Though he has been a bit shaky at times during his first season in Arizona, the hard-throwing righty has produced mostly strong results in the second half of 2014. Since the All-Star break, Reed has converted all 10 of his save opportunities while posting a stellar 1.84 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 20:3 K:BB ratio across 14.2 innings.
