Gonzalez was on his game Friday night, allowing just one run on four hits, walking one and striking out six over seven innings of a 9-1 win against Minnesota. Gonzalez (7-7, 3.61 ERA) was put back in the rotation when the Orioles decided to move Ubaldo Jimenez to the bullpen and he continues to justify that decision. He's not flashy, but he keeps the O's in games and they have the offense to turn that into wins. He'll take on the Reds in Camden Yards next time out.
