Reimold was claimed off waivers by the Diamondbacks on Thursday, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports. With Alfredo Marte holding down a regular gig in left field for the Diamondbacks despite a .209/.253/.360 batting line, Reimold could be thrust into a starting role immediately with his new club. Reimold's career has been sidetracked by injuries the past several season, but when healthy, he's shown some moderate pop in his bat in the past. The Diamondbacks will attempt to see if the 30-year-old can regain his form and become a useful piece for 2015.
