De La Rosa pitched just five innings (due to a thumb contusion) Tuesday against the Giants, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks, while striking out five batters in the loss. We'll see how his thumb effects him for his next start, but his inconsistent season continues, as he now sports a 4.19 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 114:54 K:BB ratio in 154.2 innings pitched. If he can make his next start, it will come Sunday on the road against the Diamondbacks.
