Wood was on point Tuesday against the Reds, giving up no runs on two hits and a walk while striking out five batters in the Cubs' 3-0 victory. With the dazzling showing, Wood was able to pick up his first victory in more than two months, snapping a six-game losing streak. By traditional metrics (8-11, 4.72 ERA, 1.48 WHIP), Wood hasn't been particularly great this season, but his 4.12 FIP and .314 BABIP suggests he could be in line for something of a bounce-back in 2015.
