Reynolds is not in the lineup Monday against the Padres. Manager Ron Roenicke wanted to give catcher Jonathan Lucroy a day off behind the plate but still keep his bat in the lineup, resulting in Reynolds moving to the bench. He'll could be called upon as a late-inning pinch-hitting option if the Brewers are in need of an infusion of power.
