Cano was removed from Sunday's game against the Red Sox in the bottom of the third inning, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports. It's not apparent at this time why Cano left the game, but the Mariners will almost certainly pass an update along before the end of the game. There's some speculation that he might be feeling under the weather, since Cano didn't appear to injure himself while in the field or at the plate prior to exiting.
