Blanco went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer Monday against the Mariners. Blanco had been out of the majors since 2011 until the Phillies called him up to provide infield depth. Although he hit a home run Monday, he only has four for his entire career and doesn't figure to provide much offense overall.
