Upton tagged up at second base and tried to get to third on a Chris Johnson flyout to right field in the eighth inning, but he slid awkwardly into the bag and strained his hamstring. The team has deemed the strain mild and lists Upton as day-to-day, but it wouldn't be a surprise if he missed at least one start as a result. Emilio Bonifacio seems like the top candidate to see time in left field in his absence.
