Pineda allowed one run over five innings in his first start since returning from the DL on Wednesday against the Orioles. He gave up two hits and no walks, striking out four. If the Yankees can extend Pineda deeper into games, it could be a huge shot in the arm for them. Marring Pineda's effort was the four-run eighth inning by the O's against the Yankees' bullpen, most notably against Shawn Kelley.
