X-rays on Swarzak's right ankle were returned negative, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Although no structural damage was found in the ankle, Swarzak may still require a DL stint after hurting himself while fielding a ball Tuesday. The Twins will need to clear a roster spot for Ricky Nolasco (elbow) prior to Friday's game.
