Lester fanned eight and walked two while allowing just three hits in a complete game shutout against the Twins on Thursday night. Making only his second start for the A's since being acquired at the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, Lester had little difficulty with the Twins' lineup Thursday, while affording the A's relief corps a full day of rest heading into Game 2 of the four-game set.
