Miley (7-8) was blasted for 10 runs over just 4.2 innings against the Royals on Tuesday. He gave up nine hits, walked three, struck out four, and allowed two home runs in the ugly loss. The home run ball will always be something that haunts Miley he's among the league leaders in home runs allowed with 20 and Tuesday was no exception. Both home runs he allowed were three-run blasts, first to Salvador Perez in the third inning, then to Billy Butler in the fifth. Miley was coming off his best stretch of the year prior to Tuesday's debacle, going 4-1 with a 2.45 ERA over his previous six starts. He'll try to right the ship when he faces off with the Rockies on Sunday in his home park.
