Brett Anderson limited the Cubs to two runs over seven innings but took a no-decision, as the Rockies needed 10 innings before cinching a 6-4 victory on Wednesday. It was a weird outing for Anderson. He allowed 11 hits, but nine were singles, and he did not issue a single walk while striking out nine. He's now allowed one run over fewer in at least six innings over each of his last three starts. Over seven starts overall since returning from the disabled list, Anderson has a 3.12 ERA, a 1.39 WHIP, and a 27/13 K/BB ratio. He'll match up against the Cubs again next week, this time at home.
