Marco Estrada gave up three runs over five innings Monday in a loss to the Phillies. Estrada was coming off back-to-back quality starts against the Nationals and Blue Jays, but even his good outings weren't that impressive. He's completed seven innings just once all year, he hasn't had any starts in which he's allowed no runs and he's given up eight more homers than anyone else in baseball. Improvement remains possible, but it's surprising the Brewers have been this patient with him with Jimmy Nelson waiting in the wings.
