Jerry Sands is expected to miss at least the next two weeks because of a left wrist injury. An exact diagnosis has not been revealed, but Sands had his left arm in a splint on Monday evening. He is 4-for-21 (.190) since his June 1 promotion to the majors and will likely land on the disabled list Tuesday.
