Johan Santana (shoulder) went four-plus innings in a start Thursday at extended spring training. Santana allowed one run on three hits, at one point hitting 90 mph with his fastball. This is promising stuff from the rehabbing left-hander, who hasn't appeared in a major league game since the 2012 season. Baltimore signed the 35-year-old to a minor league contract in March and the hope is that he'll be a rotation option later this summer.
