Prince Fielder (back, arm) will not travel with the Rangers to Detroit after Wednesday's game. Fielder, who is dealing with a herniated disc in his back that's led to weakness in his arm, is set to visit Dr. Drew Dossett on Thursday. Depending on what Dossett says, it's possible he'll rejoin the Rangers at some point during the four-game series. The Rangers to this point have considered Fielder day-to-day, but it's beginning to sound like a trip to the disabled list may be a possibility.
