CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Tigers will sign Joel Hanrahan (elbow). There's no word on the particulars, but the club has a press conference scheduled for Friday afternoon. Hanrahan impressed during a throwing session for roughly 20 teams a couple weeks ago, hitting as high as 93 mph on the radar gun. It will likely take him a while to become ready for game action, but he'll offer the Tigers some setup help ahead of Joe Nathan once ready.
