Orioles optioned INF David Adams to Triple-A Norfolk. Adams had himself a nice spring at the plate, slashing .281/.342/.313 with four RBI in 32 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win him a spot in the Opening Day bench. The 26-year-old should get a chance as a utility man with the Orioles at some point during the season.
