Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports that Chien-Ming Wang's minor league contract with the Reds contains a pair of opt-out clauses if he isn't on the Major League roster on May 31 or June 30. The veteran right-hander is attempting to work his way onto the Reds Opening Day roster, perhaps as a long-reliever, but the more likely scenario is that he begins the year in Triple-A and serves as additional rotation depth. He can safely be ignored for fantasy purposes.
