Red Sox acquired 2B Jonathan Herrera from the Rockies for LHP Franklin Morales and RHP Chris Martin. Herrera has slashed a ho-hum .265/.325/.332 over 1,100-plus plate appearances the past five seasons in Colorado. The 29-year-old gives Boston a cheap utility infielder who plays outstanding defense at multiple positions for two more team-controlled years. He's not fantasy relevant.
