Albert Pujols (foot) could be sidelined for the rest of the season. Angels manager Mike Scioscia only said that Pujols would be out for "a significant amount of time," but multiple reports suggest his season could be over. Pujols might have surgery to repair a partial tear of his left plantar fascia, though it's been determined that the tear has already essentially accomplished what a procedure would. If his season is indeed over, Pujols will conclude the campaign with a .258/.330/.437 batting line with 17 homers and 64 RBI.
