Reds designated RHP Greg Reynolds for assignment. Reynolds allowed five runs on eight hits over five innings in a spot start this past Tuesday for the Reds. He's posted a 2.54 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 127 1/3 frames at Triple-A Louisville and should clear waivers before rejoining their rotation.
