Pirates activated INF Chase d'Arnaud from the 60-day disabled list, optioned him to Triple-A Indianapolis. D'Arnaud is recovered from March thumb surgery but will have to work his way up through the minors. He has an ugly .208/.232/.275 batting line during his time with the Pirates.
