James Darnell (oblique) could miss another two weeks with a strained left oblique. Darnell has been dealing with the ailment all month and has been limited to 12 Cactus League plate appearances. He would have been an option to fill in at third base while Chase Headley (thumb) was out, but it appears he'll join Headley on the DL to start the season.
