Hank Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that Ryan Theriot is unlikely to return to the Giants. The veteran infielder is seeking a full-time role, which the Giants don't have available for him. While he desires the increased playing time, he will likely have to settle for a reserve role wherever he ends up.
