The Twins are considering a multi-year extension for right-hander Jared Burton. Burton is arbitration-eligible this winter and is likely to see a raise from his $750,000 salary. He posted a 2.18 ERA and 55/16 K/BB ratio in 64 appearances with the Twins and is under team control through the 2013 season.
