Yankees optioned RHP Lance Pendleton to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He was cleared to make room for Thursday's starter Brian Gordon on the active roster. Pendleton, 27, has a 2.25 ERA and 7/8 K/BB ratio over 12 innings in two stints with the Yankees this season.
