Forsythe is expected to receive most of the starts at second base with Nick Franklin (oblique) expected to miss the beginning of the season, Mark Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Forsythe is expected to platoon with Nick Franklin when he's healthy, but should be part of the everyday lineup to begin the season. He's also gotten in some work at first base in spring, but the Rays are reportedly exploring John Jaso as an option there once again, with Juan Francisco also available.
