Gattis (wrist) underwent an MRI on Thursday which revealed no structural damage in his wrist, Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle reports. Gattis proceeded to take 15-20 swings off a tee and didn't feel any pain. He's been playing defense regularly in left field and first base, but he'll continue to build up his swing as Opening Day approaches. At this point, his Opening Day status does not appear to be in jeopardy, but the Astros could be forced to lean on alternative options in left field and first base if his status does not improve in the week ahead.
